Bread Roundel


  • Bread Slices-4
  • Low fat cottage cheese- ½ cup
  • Salt – to taste
  • Onion-1 (finely chopped)
  • Oil- ½ tsp
  • Oregano

Steps to be followed

  • Heat a non-stick pan/wok
  • Add ½ tsp oil.
  • Add mustard seeds (rie) and let it sputter
  • Add onions to the mustard seeds and sauté
  • When the onions turn golden brown, add 2 tsp hung curd
  • Add salt and oregano seasoning
  • Now add grated (or mashed) cottage cheese
  • Stir for few seconds
  • Cut the sides of the bread slices with a bowl or cutter (so that they take the shape of a circle)
  • Add the topping mixture to the bread slices and bake for a minute (or heat on a on-stick pan or tawa covered)
