Veg Vermicelli Upma

Ingredients

  • Vermicilli – ½ Cup
  • Carrot – 1
  • Onion – 1
  • Capsicum – 1
  • Cabbage (optional)
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Spices – Mustard Seeds- ½ tsp , Red Chilli Powder, Dhania Powder, Garam Masala Powder
  • Oil- ½ tsp

Steps to be followed

  • Heat a non-stick Pan and add oil to it.
  • Add the mustard seeds and let sputter.
  • Now add the vegetables.
  • Add little water to it and cover the pan.
  • On a slow flame let the vegetables cook.
  • Add Vermicelli and more water (just enough to cover the vermicelli).
  • Add Salt and let it cook on low flame for a while (checking occasionally)
  • Add spices as per your taste
