Paneer Tikka

Ingredients

  • Paneer cut into cubes 500 g
  • Ginger paste 1 ½ tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 ½ tsp
  • Tandoori Masala 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Hung Dahi (Yogurt) ½ cup
  • Red color (optional) few drops
  • Lemon – 1 Quartered
  • Onion sliced into rings – 2

 

Steps to be followed

  • Mix garlic, ginger, tandoori masala, salt, dahi and red colour into a smooth mixture
  • Add paneer (Cottage Cheese) and leave for about 30 minutes
  • Place paneer around the edge of a plate or better still over a grooved microwave rack and cook uncovered at High Temp for 15 minutes
  • Turn pieces after every 5 minutes
  • In case you want them a bit brown, grill them under a hot grill
  • Serve garnished with the lemon and onion rings
