Flat Noodles


  • Flat noodies – 200gm
  • Oil – 2 tsp
  • 3 spring onions, sliced
  • 6 French beans, cut into thin strips
  • 1 medium carrot, cut inyo thin strips
  • 1/2 medium cabbage, shreded and a few extra leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Chilli sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Cornflour – 1/2 tbsp
  • 1 medium green capsicum
  • Vinegar – 1 tbsp

Steps to be followed

  • Heat a sizzler Plate
  • Boil flat noodles till al dente (cooked but atill firm to the bite). Drain and refresh in cold water
  • Heat oil in a wok; add the spring onions, French beans and carrot. Stir-fry the vegetables for a few minutes. Add the cabbage, noodles, salt, chilli sauce and soy sauce and toss well to mix. Add pepper powder
  • Mix the cornflour with four tablespoons of water
  • Toss the noodles with two spoons. Add a little water, the capsicum and the cornflour mixture. Mix well
  • Place the hot sozzler plate on its wooden base. Transfer the noodles to the hot plate. Sprinkle some vinegar over the noodles and serve immediately
  • Serve cold
